Divert unwanted textile waste and drop off your unwanted textiles and outgrown clothing between the dates above.  In North America over 80% of textile waste is still disposed of in landfill however it is almost 100%recyclable!  Bag2School provides an opportunity for families to recycle unwanted materials and educate our children on the importance of recycling. By textile recycling, approximately 93% of waste is successfully reclaimed and resold as used clothing, or reprocessed as fibers for stuffing for vehicle seats, upholstery, insulation, or cloth wipes.  Bags will be sent home with students next week.  But, any bag is fine, so start collecting your unwanted clothing and textiles and send them to school the week after March Break.  Together we can make a big difference for our planet!
