Coming to Park on Jan. 10th - Comic Art Workshop

posted Dec 19, 2017, 5:27 AM by Sandra Bussmann
Students in grades 2-5 will be participating in a Comic Art Workshop by Freeze DNA.  They have engaged over 1,000,000 students across Canada on how to draw “Comic Art” and have published twelve best-selling books which teach children how to design their own characters and create their own comic books. These fun and exciting workshops give students the opportunity to explore their artistic abilities and help build their self esteem! These workshops are conducted by professional comic book artists Anthony Stanberry and Jermain Smith who have published several children’s drawing books and graphic novels. All students will have the opportunity to learn different techniques while drawing along with the presenters.  We are looking forward to this exciting opportunity!
